Tommy “Toze” Estrella (imaginary) bass guitar – the DOORS didn’t
actually have a bass player (those parts were usually handled by Ray
Manzarek, the keyboard player). While not entirely “authentic”, the
addition here fills out the sound and frees the other musicians to
accomplish all the Doors intricacies that we’ve heard on the records,
in a live situation. Toze is a veteran of one of the original
Av ante-Garde Rock-Theater shows of the early 70’s. An accomplished
player with "start" of the art equipment, Toze is hardly kept in the
background. A born entertainer, he often provides a comic relief –
playing off the sometimes didactic Jim Morrison characterizations.
